Breakfast on the Go in Chicago
Some mornings give you twenty minutes for breakfast. Most give you five. That’s what our bagels are for. Order ahead, walk in, grab the bag with your name on it, and eat something real on the way to wherever you’re due.
Four shops in Chicago, all of them on your way somewhere.
The morning lineup
Every sandwich here starts with a bagel we rolled by hand and kettled (a quick boil in malt water before baking, the old New York way). We’ve made them like that since 2006. Order online and yours is wrapped and waiting when you walk in.
Coffee for the road
We pour Passion House Coffee: hot coffee, cold brew, lattes, cappuccinos. Oat and almond milk available. Add a cup when you order your sandwich and both land on the counter together.
Why does a bagel work so well on the go?
Short answer: a bagel holds. The kettled crust keeps a fried egg and bacon where they belong, it doesn’t go soft halfway down the block, and you can eat it with the hand that isn’t holding your coffee.
