The neighborhood
The patio at Lincoln and Diversey
Diversey Parkway is the line between Lincoln Park and Lakeview, and we're on the Lakeview side, at the south end of the Lincoln Avenue strip of shops, bars and coffee spots that runs north toward Belmont.
Weekends are brunch. The patio fills up under the umbrellas, and it's the reason a lot of people choose this shop. You can also book the patio for a private event.
Gotham is a Lincoln Brunch Fest participant. It's the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce's free brunch festival on Lincoln Avenue between Diversey and Wellington, right outside our door.

Getting to Gotham Lakeview
- Transit
- Brown Line to Diversey (at Sheffield), about a five-minute walk east of us. The #76 Diversey bus stops at Diversey and Lincoln/Racine, right at the corner.
- Parking
- There is street parking on the side streets around Lincoln and Diversey, but much of it is metered or permit-zoned; check the signs before you leave the car.
- Seating and pickup
- The patio is the place to sit when the weather's good. Order online ahead of time and pick up at the door.
- Delivery
- Delivery reaches about four miles from Lincoln and Diversey, which takes in a lot of the North Side. Choose delivery at checkout and enter your address to confirm.

Lakeview catering is mostly at home: birthday brunches, game-day spreads and the office order someone volunteered to bring. Schedule it online up to 60 days ahead, at least a day early for big orders.

- The Sandwich Platter and the Bagel and Cream Cheese Platter each serve 9 (18 halves, wrapped and sliced).
