Gotham in the neighborhood
A bagel shop is a neighborhood thing. Every year, Gotham takes part in dozens of charitable and community events in the places we bake for: feeding the folks at a charity 5K, setting up at a bagel fest, serving on our own block at a street fest. Here are a few of them.

The Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber's brunch street fest, right on our Lakeview block. We served in 2025 and again on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
PAWS Chicago 5K Walk/Run
Montrose Harbor, Chicago · Gotham Lakeview
Our Lakeview crew helped keep walkers and runners fed at PAWS Chicago's 26th annual 5K Walk/Run at Montrose Harbor, as we have in years past.
Chicago Bagel Fest
Old Crow Smokehouse, Wrigleyville, Chicago
A room full of bagel shops at Old Crow Smokehouse in Wrigleyville. Gotham was a participating shop in 2026, and we're back in February 2027.

Balloons, a red ribbon and the Hot Bagels sign lit up in the window: the day our Magnificent Mile shop on East Superior Street opened its doors in 2023.

The Spicy Caruso: a collab sandwich
One of our collab sandwiches: a hot, melty bagel sandwich loaded with Caruso's Old World Chicago hot giardiniera, from a run of limited sandwiches we made with different creators for more than a year.
